How Much Water should you take everyday?

In my last article, I wrote "Do you take you bath daily?" - emphasizing the importance of water-intake. Then the next natural question is "How much water should you take everyday?"

Obviously, we can't take things to extremes. Imagine, day and night we drink water non-stop, very soon we become water man, all our body parts become transformed to water. There is no more distinguishing organs or tissues.

There is a good article on the above question "How much water should you take everyday?".

On my part, I still stick to 3-4 litres of water a day, i.e. 12-16 glasses of water. As it is my routine practice, my body automatically quests for water when I consume less than that amount. This water therapy and other practices are helping me a lot.

Different School of Thoughts

The above article implies water intake can come from different sources, like fruit juices, coffee, soup etc. But Dr. Fereydoon Batmanghelidj has different theory : other elements in water have different agenda over the body, and water-intake should not be mixed with other things.

Danger of too much Water-intake
